Not Everything is Free

It's the new year's time and people/companies are sharing online free calendars, planners, annual planning guides etc.

This is not only with these products only. Some bloggers/websites do share downloadable ebooks.
Companies are providing free wifi at some places.

But, is it really free?

There is a catch though which we miss.

Yes it's free, if you consider money πŸ€‘ as method of transaction.

What they charge you for is your "#data".

Data in the form of a name 🏷️, e-mail ID ✉️, phone numbersπŸ“±, address πŸ“« etc.

Until you give them your data, they will not 🚫 allow to download these products.

Data is now the money πŸ’° what sellers want.

The more they have the data, the more they have the "surface area of luck" to sell you and others the products that they really intended to sell.

They will convert that data to a real piece of money. πŸ’΅ at some point of time.

Knowing or unknowingly we are bartering those products with our own data.

Free should mean "FREE" with "NO TERMS & CONDITIONS".

Click and use. No questions asked. No answers to be shared.

And definitely you should not sell products free of cost if you really worked hard on it. But don't mis-sell it like this.

If you come across any such product which is really free, do share.

Definitely πŸ’― you will not find any.
Outliers are next to God πŸ˜‡.

[By the way : Enjoy a pic of "skirts" in an outdoor 33kV damaged termination along with a supporting insulator in a yard.]

It has no relation with the thoughts expressed above and just an #electricalengineering thing.
